Internships available for 2015 Sydney Peace Prize events!

The Sydney Peace Foundation is urgently looking for one or two interns to join our small team for the next four months.

This is an opportunity to gain substantial experience with organising and coordinating events, marketing, exposure to public relations, social media and media strategy, in promoting messages of peace with justice, human rights and nonviolence, nationally and internationally.

This person will play an important part in the Sydney Peace Foundation Team, helping to pull off the City of Sydney Peace Prize Lecture and Award Ceremony, and the Sydney Peace Prize Dinner. This internship also offers an opportunity to write an article for the year’s Annual Report, and to prepare and collect nominations for submission to the Jury for the following year’s Sydney Peace Prize. Their name and photo may be posted on our website.

The intern must be available to work 1-3 days per week, with 2-3 days per week during October and in the lead up to the events in the second week of November. The internship is unpaid, but provides free entry to all the events.
