silentauction_item10_photographSydney-based fine art photographer Tobi Wilkinson works predominantly with black and white film and handcrafts her prints on fibre-based paper in a traditional wet darkroom. As part of the Gyuto Monks annual festivities at Bondi Pavilion in 2016, she exhibited her Mindful Practice – The Gyuto Monks Summer Retreat series, from which this photograph comes. In 2009 Tobi was the official photographer on the Australian tour of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
