Some naughty mistakes in The Australian’s, “Chomsky peace award blasted”

  1. The Sydney Peace Foundation was established fourteen years ago, not eight.
  2.  Windschuttle as usual gets his facts wrong.

a)      Chomsky is a consistent supporter of non-violence

b)      Chomsky compared the publicity surrounding Pol Pot with silence about East Timor and that does not make him “an apologist for the Pol Pot regime”.

c)       Chomsky’s reference to the fatalities by US air strikes and the casualties in 9/11 could only be described by Windschuttle as justification for 9/11 attacks.
