SPF Gold Medal to Julian Assange
On May 10 2011, at a ceremony at London’s Frontline Club, the Sydney Peace Foundation awarded its Gold Medal for Peace with Justice to WikiLeaks co-founder Julian Assange. The citation reads, ‘For exceptional courage and initiative in pursuit of human rights’.
