Peace Day at Cabramatta High School
On the Friday following the Award Ceremony, Cabramatta High hosts their annual Peace Day as the last piece of hospitality for the Sydney Peace Prize Recipient.
In 2011 Prof Noam Chomsky was welcomed to the school by an honour guard dressed in colourful national dress, other highlights included a recital of slam poems penned by the students on the theme of peace, a tour of the Peace Garden, a drumming and dance spectacular and the release of Peace Doves.
