Every year, the Sydney Peace Prize brings the Sydney community together to talk about peace, justice and nonviolence, and to honour some of the world’s most inspiring peacemakers.

The Black Lives Matter Global Network has won the 2017 Sydney Peace Prize for courageously reigniting a global conversation about racism and state violence, inspiring a bold and powerful movement.

This wonderful evening offers you with an intimate opportunity to meet leaders from the Black Lives Matter Global Network, hear from inspiring speakers including Linda Burney MP, Luke Pearson (IndigenousX) and Tracey Spicer, listen to music from the legendary Archie Roach, and celebrate the Prize with great company at a spectacular fully catered three-course dinner. 

The annual Gala Dinner is the Sydney Peace Foundation’s fundraising event of the year. Your attendance will help us continue awarding the Sydney Peace Prize to recognise and support global leaders for peace and justice.
