Peace with Justice

The Sydney Peace Foundation is an Australian not-for-profit organisation dedicated to promoting universal human rights, social and climate justice, and non-violent solutions to conflict. Founded in 1998, the Foundation highlights movements, leaders, ideas and actions that encourage a more compassionate, peaceful and equitable world.

Founded on the principle of “Peace with Justice”, the Foundation promotes a more just and more compassionate world by addressing underlying injustices and inequalities in society.

The Sydney Peace Prize lectures provide insights into the role of peacemakers, what inspires them, what gives them courage and hope and their role and impact as leaders and changemakers.

WHY
PEACE IS POSSIBLE

Many of our leaders and systems are failing us. In the face of global problems such as climate change, inequality and racism, they act from fear not hope or vision. Although they often go unheard, extraordinary people around the world have powerful solutions. Together, we can create a peaceful, fair, just and compassionate world that cares for people and planet.
