We rely on the great work of interns and volunteers. Being part of the Foundation’s team as a volunteer or intern is a great way to develop your skills and expertise and be a part of a tight-knit community passionate about peace and justice. You will be an important member of a small and committed team that delivers our annual Sydney Peace Prize program and associated events. Plus, you will have the opportunity to attend the Sydney Peace Prize events and take a look behind the scenes.
Internships
For internships, the Sydney Peace Foundation runs a structured internship program for university students studying communications, marketing, law, peace and conflict studies, international relations, development studies and/or any courses to do with social and economic justice. These programs align with university internship coursework requirements. For more information please email .
Each year, we also mobilise a team of volunteers and interns to assist at two major Sydney Peace Prize events – the Award Ceremony and Lecture and Gala Dinner. We are always on the look out for generous individuals who are passionate change makers, keen to make a difference and gain some real-world experience.
We require general assistance as well as in areas of production, event management, artist liaison and more. We would love you to be part of it. You are welcome to sign up for the Lecture, Gala Dinner, or both! Email to show your interest.
