The City of Sydney Peace Prize Lecture is an inspirational annual address delivered by the year’s Sydney Peace Prize recipient, which typically takes place at Sydney Town Hall on the Wednesday of the first week of November to a sell-out crowd.

2014: Julian Burnside AO QC, Sydney Town Hall

On Wednesday 5th November 2014, from 6:30pm at Town Hall, Julian Burnside AO QC will deliver the 2014 City of Sydney Peace Prize Lecture, and Her Excellency Professor The Hon.
Dame Marie Bashir AD, CVO Former Governor of New South Wales will present him with the Prize.

The Sydney Peace Prize Gala Reception will follow directly after the Ceremony and Lecture, where guests will have the opportunity to meet Julian Burnside and engage in a Q&A whilst enjoying drinks and canapés and mingling with Sydney’s finest.
