This year the Sydney Peace Prize Gala Reception will replace the Gala Dinner and Award Ceremony.

The Sydney Peace Prize Gala Reception will follow directly after the Lecture and Ceremony (6.30-7.45pm).

You will have the opportunity to meet Julian Burnside and engage in a Q&A moderated by Richard Ackland, and enjoy  The Chaser’s Charles Firth as an entertaining compere over drinks and canapés. This has a 7.45pm for 8pm start.

Up to 250 of Sydney’s most interesting people will attend this Gala Reception to continue celebrating the achievements of Julian Burnside AO QC, directly following the City of Sydney Peace Prize Lecture and Award Ceremony.

There will be opportunity to mingle and network with leaders from corporate, academic, media and government sectors, as well as the wider Sydney community—over cocktails, wine, beer and delicious canapes.

There will be a chance to ask questions to Julian Burnside during a Q&A session.
