Missy Higgins, Senator Patrick Dodson and Professor Gillian Triggs join Naomi Klein at Sydney Town Hall

We invite you to join us for the 2016 City of Sydney Peace Prize Lecture and Award Ceremony, and the spectacular Sydney Peace Prize Gala Dinner.

On Friday 11 November at 6.30pm Sydney will come together at Sydney Town Hall to celebrate the awarding of the 2016 Sydney Peace Prize to award-winning author, journalist, and activist Naomi Klein.

Naomi Klein is one of the world’s most powerful voices on climate change and economic justice of our time. Speaking truth to power and challenging our ways of living, Naomi’s bold, insightful and unapologetic analysis receives standing ovations worldwide.

You have the unique opportunity to witness this special moment and be inspired by Naomi’s City of Sydney Peace Prize Lecture.

We are thrilled to announce that the Lecture and Award Ceremony at Sydney Town Hall will feature an opening song by ARIA award-winning Missy Higgins, an introduction by 2008 Peace Prize recipient Senator Patrick Dodson, and the awarding of the Prize by Professor Gillian Triggs, President of the Australian Human Rights Commission.
