SYDNEY PEACE PRIZE
Every year, Australia’s international prize for peace brings people from all walks of life together to honour the world’s most dedicated change-makers to learn more about peace, justice and nonviolence. Recipients remind us that a fair and just world is possible.

Gold Medal for Human Rights
The Sydney Peace Foundation occasionally presents other awards to recognise achievements in the promotion of peace with justice, including certificates and the Gold Medal for Human Rights.
The Gold Medal for Human Rights is a formal recognition and prestigious acknowledgement of an individual’s tireless commitment to human rights. It has been awarded on four occasions.

SCHOOLS
Every year, Sydney Peace Prize recipients meet thousands of students from schools all over Sydney at Cabramatta High School Peace Day. It allows students to learn about the vital contributions recipients have made to peace and justice, and gives Laureates an opportunity to hear the voices of Australian youth.
