Tickets are now on sale for the Sydney Peace Prize 2012 events
This year, the Sydney Peace Prize will be awarded to Senator Sekai Holland, Co Minister for Reconciliation Healing and Integration in the Cabinet of President Robert Mugabe and Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai.
The Sydney Peace Prize Jury selected Sekai Holland in recognition of a lifetime of outstanding courage in campaigning for human rights and democracy, for challenging violence in all its forms and for giving such astute and brave leadership for the empowerment of women.
Wednesday 7 November – City of Sydney Peace Prize Lecture
Each year on the evening before the Award is presented, the Sydney Peace Prize recipient presents the City of Sydney Peace Prize Lecture.
This year the lecture will be opened with a drumming and dancing performances by students from Cabramatta High.
Where: Sydney Town Hall.
When: 6:30pm for 7pm start.
Tickets: $25 concession / $35 adult (including GST & booking fee; excluding credit card & delivery)

Thursday 8 November – Award Ceremony and Gala Dinner
The premier annual event of the Sydney Peace Foundation, this Award Ceremony and Gala Dinner attracts an audience of over 250 of Sydney’s top corporate, government, NGO and university leaders.
Where: MacLaurin Hall, The University of Sydney
When: 7pm for 7:30pm start
Dress: Black Tie
Tickets: $375 per person / $3750 for table of ten (including GST)
